I had a similar model iZUMi jersey from a few seasons prior that I loved, so I purchased this one to replace it when it was getting worn out. The material felt a little different, as if it was a bit thicker, which may be the hundred washes the old one had been through, who knows, but I wore them both on back to back days and felt that the newer one did not breathe as well as the older one did, and it felt heavier to me. I also have jerseys by Primal and Mr. Borah, and both of them are lighter and breathe better than this one. I ended up giving this to a friend who was a new rider after only wearing it four times. It is not a bad jersey, by any means, just not what I like in my jerseys. If you like thicker material jerseys or live in a cooler climate, it might be perfect for you. I live in SE Louisiana, so, HUMIDITY.Good jersey, This is what I expected for the price, it is comfortable and it gets the job done. The jersey runs a little longer than I expected and I realized after I received the item that this is from the Pearl Izumi MTB series but it works fine for the road also. For the price this is a great jersey if you are a cyclist who likes a more loose fit in your jersey. This ran quite large. I ordered a Large. I am 5'8" and trim and this jersey comes down past my rear end but fits well otherwise. It's comfortable but I would prefer not to have so much fabric to tuck in.Update: Wore this for the first time and the single pocket is backward facing. You're either reaching across your body or doing something awkward to get anything out. In addition, due to the large / long sizing the pocket was actually in my bike shorts once tucked in. Not impressed.Bottom line: Great if you're tall and are happy with a single pocket/ storage compartment.an okay jersey for sure. i'm a solid medium in all my pearl jerseys. this runs i little big. just a little. lacks a pocket at least in the newer versions. a dissapointment for me. even though i use a pack for riding it's nice/a big plus having at least one pocket for a cellphone. great deal if purchased on clearance otherwise skip it.Although I mostly road bike, I tend to wear baggy clothing like mountain biking. This jersey is more like a mountain biking jersey -- not as form fitting as road clothes.I like that. I do wish it had a pocket in the back, but it does have the little zipper pocket up front (for things like your phone).Pearl Izumi is always top quality, I really like the relaxed feel of this shirt, and the fabric is very nice and soft with good moisture wicking properties. I'm normally somewhere between a small and medium but I got the medium and it fits well, not tight but neither does it feel over-sized. I like the color options, I'll probably get a couple more. there are no back pockets, but I like that because it wont interfere with my camelbak, there is one tiny ID/keys pocket on the right side with a zipper which is nice.Decent jersey that's not too tight. I'm a little tall, but this still seems to be a bit short (I find that most Pear Izumi stuff is)This shirt was a Christmas gift for my husband, and he was very happy with it. It has a great fit, not too long or short, and is just tailored enough to have a nice profile. The fabric and construction are both fine, although it is missing the traditional 3 back pocket feature that is available on many cycling shirts. He doesn't mind the ommission, however, and will purchase more of these shirts in the future.
