I bought this for work. It is the second time I'm buying these. good quality and get the job doneMy review is for items purchased from MARQUIS NEW YORK (items sold by The Shirt Box have a different inner neck line stripe + are much tighter - which makes me wonder if The Shirt Box offers the real deal). I am a 6' 2" - 195 lbs - 45 year old male - European (Dutch/Belgian ancestry so tall; not wide). Some extra around the waste; but not too much; within BMI. The XL is a perfect fit! Love that it is just a tad longer than other shirts; perfect for taller Europeans! I also appreciate the black color with the wicked red-lined inner neck line stripe; it provides a nice extra touch. I have also tried the Fred Perry Men's Slim Fit Plain Shirt, Black, X-Large which is just a bit tighter; perfect when I loose more weight! But for now, this Marquis XL is a great fit. Just make sure you purchase from MARQUIS NEW YORK.I was very happy with the shirt when I first got it and for the price it seemed great. However, the wear after several washes started to show and overall it did not hold up over time very well if you are planning to wear it on a day to day basis. I admit for the price it was a good deal but probably better if you only plan wear it occasionally.I've bought five of these shirts, so I obviously love them. For the price, they're amazing. The fabric is soft, the quality is great, and they hold up well after a couple dozen washings. I use them as work shirts, at my business casual job, and they are perfect. I also wear them out sometimes.Pro-tip: Wash the in cool or warm water---not hot--- and tumble dry low---not hot, if you want them to stay super soft longer.The fit is as expected, but for some reason the last one I got, the black one, was much smaller than the others. It was labeled medium, but fit like a small. It's still looks good, but I don't wear it to work, but it is practically form-fitting.This is a terrific shirt for the money. The fabric is comfortable, light enough for summer wear, and wicks moisture fairly well. I am 6'4", 175 pounds, and the XL fits very nicely - loose enough to move easily, but not baggy at the shoulders or waist. The sleeve length seems perfect, not down to the elbow and not too high either. I initially bought one of these shirts, but in the next few weeks bought four more. The fit was consistent with all of these except the black shirt. This one was fine, but a little tight in the shoulders. It's difficult to imagine that a different shirt costing 2 or 3 times the price would be any better.I was buying clothes for the first time for a friend, so I didn't know what to expect as far as the actual fit and I was buying this as a gift so I didn't want to ask for his size.I ordered the 2xl. He's in between a 1x and 2x ( if that makes sense, meaning sum 1x seemed to small and some 2x seemed too big.)Anyway the 2x was perfect, the color was just right, the fit was nice not to snug and not to loose. everything including shipping was as expected.This is a good quality polo. The sizing runs slightly small, but the fit is good. I am 6'1", 185lbs, larger shoulders and the XL fits without it being a muscl shirt yet still have a modern look.The navy color came as pictured. Sleeves are appropriate length and are comfortable. The shirt is generally comforatable with no loud logos on the chest of sleeve.Polo shirt is true to slim fit, however I simply returned it because I did not need it anymore. Looks great and fits very well to a slim muscular build body. Arm openings however are a bit too tight, and might feel tighter if you have bigger arms. Otherwise, it is a great purchase and will buy again if I end up needing it!This is the second shirt we have bought, this time we tried a medium. It's a great quality, really soft material on the body, the collar is a rougher texture and thicker than the body. We discovered after buying the first shirt that it's better to cold wash and line dry inside rather than hanging it in the sun, because it started fading quite quickly. The colour initially is really nice and it's not see through.
