My grandson who is progressing in soccer has lately been interested in playing Goalie. I see those kids catching the ball and am always concerned they’ll hurt their thin little bodies. My grandson was very tickled to get this gift and he immediately put it on and started prancing around the yard. I can see it’s a little big for him still so the size runs about one or two sizes larger than expected, but I was impressed with the padding on the chest and on the arms. The arms padding doesn’t go all the way around, so it’s only partially helpful. The padding on the chest felt rather low for him so it’s not high up enough around the neck or upper chest area. But I think he’s going to grow into this and get lots of use out of it. Five stars for a great idea and nice quality. This goalie jersey is an absolute win! The padding offers great protection for those daring dives, but it’s still breathable enough to stay comfortable during an intense game. The fit is spot on, and the gray color with subtle accents adds a touch of sleekness. It’s also easy to wash, which is a huge plus after muddy games. Highly recommend for anyone who’s tired of scraped elbows and looking for a little extra confidence in the goal.
