I have to start off with saying this was my first cycling jersey. With that in mind, please take what I have to say for what it is. Sick of wearing a simple cotton shirt for my 30-50 mile road rides, I decided on getting a real jersey. This size L jersey fits me perfectly (6' tall, 170 lbs), it wicks sweat perfectly and is seriously light and comfortable. Miles above just any old shirt. The rear pouches are perfect for storing gels, your license or whatever you may need to take with you on a cycling trip.I would easily give this shirt 5 stars had it not been for how fragile it is. The fabric seems to run easily. Not to the point of losing function but definitely to the point of looking shabby in parts (only a few small areas so far). Looking at other jerseys, most summer ones seem to be made of the same material so i bet it goes with the territory. With that said, when this one wears out I would not hesitate to buy another, I am extremely pleased with it.Great jersey. Would take off half star only if I could for fit. The description does say form-fitting, so I can't fault them too much. However, I'd say in comparison to my other "large" sized jersey's from Specialized, it is a bit smaller. It's fine, just expect a slim/fitted appearance. The material is WONDERFUL. It's light and airy. Great for the hot, humid weather we've been having. One minor gripe, and this may be because the fabric is so light and flowy, the zipper is does not lay flat when zipped. Maybe it's just the way it fits me. They color was pretty accurate, and this sucker is bright. It might be in my head, but I feel like drivers give me a wider berth when wearing this jersey. That being said, Full zip jerseys FTW. Once you go full zip, you won't go back.Overall fit of this jersey was great, a race cut fit that's snug all around, very lightweight. The mesh like panels under the armpits really help in cooling and wicking away sweat. However, when in a more aggressive bir position for races, the zipper has a tendency to bunch up at the top or bottom due to its inflexible nature. This creates a weird bulge not unlike the "crotch bulge" you may get when wearing certain cuts or brands of jeans. While this doesn't necessarily create any discomfort, it does sometimes annoy me in that it 1) rides up on my shoulders/body, forcing me to pull it down every couple of hours, and 2) it creates an area for "scooping up air" if you're into the whole super aerodynamics thing. However a great jersey for the price, just wished the zipper area was shorter so it doesn't bunch up like it does.Overall, I really like this jersey. The fabric feels nice, the fit is nice (I'm 5' 10" and I ordered the Large... could maybe go to XL but I like the slimmer fit) and it breathes well even in hot weather riding. Here are my issues with it1 - In less than one season of use (I purchased May of 2016), it has developed about 10 pinholes total between a couple different centralized areas. At first I was like "crap, something snagged it in the washer", but that seems very unlikely as they did not all show up at once and they are limited to a couple different areas... and the odds of something snagging those two areas through multiple washes is unlikely.2 - The base of the zipper on the jersey has snagged terribly (read 'shredded') the front of my Quest Izumi cycling shorts which is extremely irritating as this is also my first season with those shorts and I only wear these together when I ride...According to the PI sizing I had to go with the Small and got the true red/black version. I am 5'7" with a 37.5" chest and it fits snugly but not tight as the material is capable of stretching further. It does not fit like a skin suit but close enough - at least for me - so that there's no flapping of material at all. The length is just right too - just like the one seen on the model here. The downside, though not a major one, is the length of the sleeves. It's a tad shorter compared to my other jerseys. When I'm on my bike they slides up a little more. Material wise, it's very soft - almost silky-like feel - and the cooling effect really works.Pros:The material is really nice, dries amazingly fast, is soft and comfortable, protects from UV, keeps you warm when it is a little bit cold and when it is hot it dissipates the heat pretty well. It is tight to the skin and the design really makes you look good! It is very light and folds pretty well. It has several pockets on the back. I use it for cycling. I have not tried to run wearing it.Cons:It could be a bit longer in the front. No big deal. If you use a low waist shorts your belly might show a bit.A bit snug XL I am 5 7 - 193 lbsThis could be a bit more loose but hey I am trying to lose weight so this will actually fit perfect in hopefully a short time. The pockets in back are awesome - FYI - This is my first Jersey - I have been using like Dri shirts - They work okay, but no pockets obviously, I love it because I can put my phone back there and felt secure - no chance of coming out - I also threw back a couple gronala bars. I felt dry the whole ride 20 mile ride - Than I got a flat tire and ended my ride.I bought these jerseys for riding in the summer heat. This will be my first summer riding, and during a heat wave this spring I started having issues with over heating. These jerseys seem to fit the bill as far as all the cooling features you can get. I like that they are vented with a mesh along the flanks, have a full length zipper and are made of the PI "In-R-Cool" material. What I don't like is that the white jersey I ordered is totally see thru at a medium to point blank distance. If I were ripped like the fashion models in the photos I probably wouldn't mind, but being of the more modest mind set I feel a bit exposed.I haven't owned these jerseys long at the time of this review so I can't comment about durability, nor my goal of keeping cool during the hot summer. I just wanted to warn those considering ordering about the white jersey.
